"Vintage Ladies" Journal/Composition Book on Zibbet

I've been wanting to bring my collage skills into a practical mode, so last week I made several embellished composition books with collage covers. Here's a favorite; it's called "Vintage Ladies" and it uses images from the fabulously wonderful *The Graphics Fairy* blog:

Aren't these sepia-toned ladies adorable? I particularly like the row of ballerinas, but they all appeal to me. The entire front cover is painted with gloss medium, which forms a protective coating and also adds to the antique appearance. The blank signboard in the center is the perfect to write a name or title to identify the journal, and a fine-point permanent marker works great for writing over the clear coating.
